RECYCLING PROJECT
Hyungjoo Kim's recycling project items appear in different formats consistent with her "art to wear" and in the Hangul project. The recyclable materials that she uses are paper, metals, and medicinal herbs. Her use of Hanji (Korean Mulberry paper) also falls in this category. Kim discovers beauty from unexpected sources and gives new meaning to recreated works of art (see Han-Gul).
